Our school motto is “Great Gators Accomplish Great Things!” We emphasize the belief that all students are capable of accomplishing great things every day. During the 2024–2025 school year, we are celebrating our 25th school year!
It is an honor and privilege to be a part of the great Gator team since 2001 and serving as your principal since 2005. Pole Green Elementary opened in 2000, so I have been fortunate to work with a strong group of teachers, staff, and community members to build the founding principles that make Pole Green a great place for our students to learn and grow. We pride ourselves on high expectations and dedication to individual student growth. In 2017, we were recognized for our student engagement through STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) based learning, and we even experienced a live chat with NASA astronauts aboard the International Space Station Expedition 53. Our selection for the NASA live chat was only one of six schools in the nation and a truly unique educational experience for everyone. In 2024, we have been recognized by Senator Warner as a top 20 Virginia elementary schools across the state of over 1,000 elementary schools. We are very proud of our great Gator teachers, students, and community.
It is my goal to partner with you to continue to enrich the learning experience for our students. Together, we are a great Gator team and family!
